Terms and Conditions

1. Payment
15% non-refundable deposit (minimum £50) to secure booking. Balance of payment
to be paid ONE month before wedding date. If cancelled within 3 months of wedding
date we reserve the right to invoice for 50% of any balance outstanding.
2. Quality
We accept photograph/video quality based on the following:-
a) the sample photographs enclosed with this booking form, and/or
b) a set of wedding pictures/DVD viewed when Charisma visited, and/or
c) based on a recommendation, and/or
d) web-site portfolio.
3. Equipment and Back-Up
All equipment used is checked prior to each wedding. Strict use of a second,
back-up (35mm format) camera, is guaranteed. Other back-up equipment is also available on
stand-by.
4. Liability
In the unlikely event of disappointment, liability is limited to a partial or full refund and/or
use of other guests' negatives/video footage where appropriate.
5. Attendance Time
If the attendance time is exceeded beyond reason (standard traditional weddings
incur 3 hours attendance), we reserve the right to charge an additional fee. Evening
attendance start time is generally flexible unless specified on the booking form.
6. Promotion
Occasionally we may use your photographs/DVD for advertising/promotional purposes. Please
tick the box on the booking form if you object.
7. Weather
Occasionally, the UK can experience adverse weather conditions, which may affect the
quantity/quality of wedding photographs/DVD coverage taken on the day. Please be assured
that Charisma will endeavour to capture the happy day in a professional manner whatever
the circumstances.
8. Copyright
Charisma own all copyright to your wedding photographs/DVD and reserve the right to charge
a fee for unauthorised copies of photographs/DVD.
9. Supply of Photographs/DVD
Charisma endeavours to produce your wedding photographs/DVD within 6 weeks of your wedding
day, and will advise delivery/collection accordingly. Once master DVD is supplied Charisma
cannot be held responsible for any loss or corruption of DVD.
10. Change of Wedding Details
The customer is responsible for advising Charisma, in writing, of any amendments to the booking
details supplied on the booking form; within a reasonable time scale prior to the wedding day.
11. Supply of Music for Video/DVD
The customer is responsible for supplying choice of music for their video and obtaining
permission from the music publishers for inclusion.
12. Permission to Record Wedding Service
The customer is responsible for obtaining a C.C.L.I. one-day event licence, if required
by the Wedding Venue.
13. Albums
If not taken within 6 months from date of wedding/order we reserve the right
to charge a fee to cover any additional costs.
14. Storage of Negatives/films/CD/Video/DVD & Computer Data
Our best endeavours for safe storage will be maintained. However, we cannot cover events
beyond our control such as fire, theft or flood etc.
